How to Enable Auto Update for Your Collection

The Auto Update feature automatically refreshes your collection with the latest articles from your platform. No more manual updating needed!

Step-by-step guide

1. Create your collection

Start by creating the collection where you want your articles to appear.

2. Open the collection settings

Click the settings icon (gear) at the top right.

3. Enable Auto Update

  • Select Auto Update.

  • Turn on Automatically update Collection (every 60 minutes).

4. Enter the target link

Provide the URL where the articles you want to include are located.

5. Identify the correct articles using Developer Mode

To tell Timepath which articles to add, you need to find a specific classname on your platform:

  • Open Developer Mode in your browser (right-click → Inspect element).

  • Locate the a-tag (link) for one of the articles.

  • Check the classname used for that a-tag.

  • Copy that classname.

6. Paste the classname in Auto Update

Paste the copied classname into the Auto Update settings so Timepath knows which elements to recognize as articles.

Additional options

Publication Date Filter

Choose to include only articles published within a specific timeframe (e.g., articles from the last 7 days).

Exclude Articles

Add specific article URLs you want to exclude from the collection to prevent them from being auto-added.
