This February, we have expanded the definition of what Timepath can do. We are excited to announce the release of three powerful new tools: GEO Story, Social Story, and AI Modules.
These updates are designed to help journalists and creators turn complex information into premium, interactive narratives faster and easier than ever before.
Timepath GEO Story: See the story unfold on a map
For years, we’ve helped you master the chronological narrative. But we know that for many stories, "Where" is just as vital as "When." While a timeline explains sequence, a map explains proximity, scale, and context.
GEO Story is our new editorial-grade cartography tool. We are moving beyond simple, static Google Maps embeds to offer a geospatial storytelling platform designed for deep journalistic purposes:
Interactive City Guides & Bucket Lists: As seen in Het Parool’s recent "101 Things to Do in Amsterdam," where readers can track their own progress.

The mobile-first generation doesn't just read news; they experience it through vertical, immersive formats. Timepath Social allows journalists to create high-end social posts and stories without needing a dedicated design or graphics team.
Own the engagement: Build immersive vertical stories once and publish them seamlessly across social platforms and your own website. Keep the experience native while driving audiences back to your platforms. Track engagement and impressions.
RSS feed scraper: Efficiency is key. Simply paste an article URL or choose from an RSS feed to automatically generate content for your social posts.
Template Management: Build a suite of reusable layouts for every content type. This ensures a consistent brand voice across the entire newsroom without the extra manual effort.
Preview & export: See exactly how your post appears on every platform before you hit publish, or embed it directly onto your news site via script for a premium on-site experience.
AI Modules: Your Tailored Journalistic Toolkit
We aren’t just "adding AI". We are integrating a fully customizable AI engine into every corner of the Timepath ecosystem. AI Modules give editors full control, ensuring the output matches your specific publication's tone and journalistic standards.
Think of AI Modules as a library of specialized digital colleagues. Instead of every journalist trying to figure out how to talk to an AI, the newsroom creates a set of "Master Prompts" tailored to their specific standards.
Custom Prompt Engineering & "Master" Control
Your editorial leadership can custom-write the system instructions for specific tasks, which can be integrated into your Timepath products.
The Task: For example, a "Headline Generator" or an "Instagram Caption Optimizer"
The Guardrails: You define the tone (e.g., "Objective, dry, and concise"), the forbidden words, and the required structure.
Access Control: To ensure consistency, you can restrict editing access. Reporters can use the module to get their work done, but they can’t change the underlying "recipe." This ensures that every output follows the same brand voice, no matter who is using it.
Multi-model integration: We know that different AI models have different strengths. Timepath AI Modules allow you to toggle between the world’s leading engines depending on the task: Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity.
Integrated Tools & Chat Interface
There are two ways your team will interact with these modules:
Product-embedded: These are the "magic buttons" inside your Timepath products, for example:
Quiz: Click "Generate Quiz," and the AI uses your pre-set "Quiz Master" module to build it instantly.
Timeline: AI can research a topic and find all key events; you just review and click "Add to Timeline."
Survey: Summarize complex survey insights from open-ended reader responses.
Social Story: Generate engaging Instagram/LinkedIn captions
The AI chat function: For more complex, free-form work, journalists can use the AI chat. It works exactly like a standard AI chat interface but with the major advantage of being able to apply your saved modules (like "Article Summarizer") to the conversation — all without ever leaving the Timepath workspace.
Reusability and Efficiency
Once a newsroom has perfected a prompt, say, a specific way to transcribe Dutch interviews into English summaries, it becomes a reusable asset. This eliminates "prompt fatigue" and ensures that the quality of your AI-assisted content remains high and predictable across the entire organization.
