Timepath Product Update – July 2025
From more control over your quiz structure to a brand new horizontal liveblog experience – here's what's new this month.
At Timepath we are continuously improving the platform to help you tell stronger, smarter and more visual stories. This month we are introducing several updates across Quiz, Collection, Timeline and Liveblog. Take a look at what is new and how it can benefit your workflow right away.
Quiz – Better insights and more control
The quiz feature received several powerful upgrades to improve usability, layout and data insights.
Reorder questions with drag and drop to shape the structure of your quiz exactly the way you want.
Add notes to answer options to help your audience understand the reasoning behind the correct answer.
Improved analytics now show you how many users started and completed the quiz, offering valuable feedback for editorial and engagement performance.
Layout enhancements:
- Customize navigation button and timeline colors.
- Show or hide answer labels and style them to match your design.
Result: a quiz experience that is smarter, more flexible and more on brand.
Collection – Smarter ordering and auto updates
We have expanded the ways you can organize and automate your collections:
Three ordering options:
Order by date to show how a story has developed over time.
Manual order with drag and drop for a custom sequence.
Random order for dynamic sets such as recipes or opinion columns.
Improved auto update: duplicate articles are now automatically detected and removed. This keeps your collection clean and relevant.
Timeline – Enhanced control
Timelines are now even more flexible:
Choose between order by date or manual order to create either a chronological narrative or a custom sequence of events.
Perfect for background stories or thematic overviews.
Liveblog – Horizontal storytelling and RSS integration
We are excited to launch a new horizontal liveblog template. This layout allows readers to scroll sideways through the story, providing a fresh and intuitive reading experience especially on mobile. You can also add additional content below the liveblog, such as a quiz, poll or related articles.
We also added RSS feed integration so you can import recently published articles into your liveblog with a single click. Ideal for fast-moving coverage such as breaking news, sports events or elections.
Looking ahead
Every month we take Timepath further to support newsrooms, content creators and marketers in building compelling stories. Want to know how to get started with these new features or need advice on your use case? Our team is happy to help. Stay tuned, more exciting updates are coming in August.
