Abagnale did not originally have confidence in DiCaprio’s ability to play him in the film, but he was eventually impressed by how well DiCaprio portrayed his life. Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for the Golden Glove Award for his role in this film.

Leonardo DiCaprio landed his first Golden Globe Award from another collaboration with Scorsese. ‘The Aviator’ was a huge success. The actor received incredible reviews for his performance.
